Asbestos mill board is manufactured from selected clean long asbestos fibres of uniform quality mixed with suitable incombustible binding materials. Asbestos mill board is very efficient for heat and fire resistance with superior strength at service temperature upto 500°c (932°f) and even at a higher temperature when properly supported. Besides, it also has acid, sound and vermin-proof properties. It can be cut, drilled and screwed to supporting beams easily and can also be moulded or cemented to any shape.
